U.S. Poultry Products Granted Full Market Access by Uruguay

Uruguay has granted final approval for that country to  import U.S. fresh and frozen poultry and poultry products, (including U.S. fresh chicken), effective April 21, 2014, according to a USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) bulletin this week.

Eggs Set, Chicks Placed, Broilers Produced Report

U.S. total broiler slaughter data for the week ending May 3 is estimated by USDA’s Poultry Market News Service to be 155,696,000 broilers, no change from the same week a year earlier.
