President-elect Trump this week announced more nominees for senior government positions as Senate committees ramp up their Cabinet confirmation hearings ahead of inauguration day.

Dudley Hoskins was named as the nominee for the Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Hoskins currently serves as counsel on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. He previously spent four years at USDA during President Trump’s first term, as chief of staff for Marketing and Regulatory Programs and as Senior Advisor to the Secretary. “He will work with our great Secretary of Agriculture Nominee, Brooke Rollins, to make sure American food is the safest and healthiest in the World. Congratulations Dudley!” President-elect Trump said on Truth Social.

USDA’s Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs oversees the department’s Agricultural Marketing Service.

Luke Lindberg was named as the nominee for Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agriculture Affairs at USDA. “During my First Term, Luke served as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer at the Export-Import Bank, where he earned the Distinguished Service Award,” President-elect Trump said on Truth Social. “He is currently the President & CEO of South Dakota Trade, and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of District Export Councils. Luke will work to make sure American Farmers and Ranchers get the smart Trade Deals that they deserve. Congratulations Luke!”

Richard Fordyce was named as the nominee for Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation at USDA. “Richard is a proud fourth generation soy, corn, and beef cattle farmer, who served as the Administrator of the Farm Service Agency at USDA during my First Term, and was formerly Missouri’s Director of Agriculture,” President-elect Trump said on Truth Social. “He will work closely with our wonderful Secretary of Agriculture Nominee, Brooke Rollins, to ensure that our incredible American Farmers and Ranchers have the support they need to feed our Great Nation, and the World. Congratulations Richard!”

Michael Boren was named as the nominee for Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment at USDA. “Michael is a successful businessman, who has founded six companies, including Clearwater Analytics,” President-elect Trump said on Truth Social. “He has also served as a volunteer fireman for Sawtooth Valley Rural Fire Department, and as a board member of the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Michael will work to reinvigorate Forest Management at a time when it is desperately needed.”

Meanwhile, Senate committees have begun holding confirmation hearings for President-elect Trump’s Cabinet position nominees, including Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury nominee Scott Bessent, Secretary of Homeland Security nominee Kristi Noem, Secretary of Energy nominee Chris Wright, Secretary of Transportation nominee Sean Duffy, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator nominee Lee Zeldin, and Office of Management and Budget Director nominee Russ Vought. No confirmation votes have been held yet.
