Dr. Evan Feigenbaum, Vice President for Studies at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is slated to speak on October 17 at the National Chicken Council’s 69th Annual Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Evan Feigenbaum is Vice President for Studies at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where he oversees its work in Washington, Beijing, New Delhi, and Singapore on both East Asia and South Asia.
A distinguished academic and practitioner, Dr. Feigenbaum holds a Ph.D in Chinese politics from Stanford University and has served in high-level government roles, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia and Central Asia during the Bush Administration. He has been a trusted advisor to Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice and played a pivotal role in major diplomatic negotiations with countries such as India and Kazakhstan.
In addition to his government service, Dr. Feigenbaum is a senior advisor at Macro Advisory Partners and has held key positions at prestigious institutions, including founding Vice Chairman of The Paulson Institute at the University of Chicago. His insights into the Chinese economy have been widely recognized, particularly through his work at MacroPolo, the Institute’s digital venture on the Chinese economy.
Dr. Feigenbaum’s extensive publications cover critical topics such as U.S. strategy in Asia, and relations with China, India, Korea, Taiwan, and Central Asia. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Australian-American Leadership Dialogue and was its 2023 Leadership Honoree and of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Cosmos Club.
