Multiple Case Farms facilities recently won awards by the Joint Industry Safety and Health Council at the 2024 National Safety Conference for the Poultry Industry.

Case Farms’ Morganton, NC and Winesburg, OH processing facilities received the Award of Distinction. The Massillon and Shelby feed mills and Strasburg hatchery also won the award.

The Canton, OH processing facility and hatchery, Morganton, NC hatchery, and Goldsboro, NC hatchery and feed mill won the Award of Honor, which is the second highest award.

To be eligible for the awards, facilities must maintain OSHA metrics such as the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and the Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART) rate at or below industry averages.
