This week the House and Senate Appropriations Committees approved their respective versions of the FY2025 Agriculture Appropriations bills.
The House Appropriations Committee passed its FY2025 Agriculture Appropriations bill Wednesday by a 29-26 party-line vote. The bill now heads to the House floor for consideration.

The Senate Agriculture Committee passed its FY2025 bill by a unanimous 27-0 vote. The Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Agriculture did not hold a markup or vote on the legislation. The bill now heads to the Senate floor for consideration.

Congress is scheduled to recess for August and October prior to November’s election, leaving little time on either chamber’s calendars for floor action.
