The House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee this week approved the FY2025 agriculture appropriations bill by voice vote.
The bill provides a total discretionary allocation of $25.873 billion, which is $355 million (1.35 percent) below the Fiscal Year 2024 enacted level and $2.688 billion (9.4 percent) below the President’s Budget Request.
The full House Appropriations Committee is scheduled to markup the bill on July 10, 2024.
