The House Agriculture Committee next week is set to hold a hearing regarding regulatory barriers to production agriculture. NCC President Mike Brown will testify in the hearing.
The hearing, entitled, “Uncertainty, Inflation, Regulations: Challenges for American Agriculture,” will focus on regulatory barriers and red tape holding back American agricultural production. The hearing will be held next Tuesday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. EST in House Agriculture Committee hearing room 1300 of the Longworth House Office Building. Additional witnesses have not yet been announced.
The hearing will be the first of the full committee held in the 118th Congress under Chairman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (R, PA-15). A member of the committee for more than a decade, Thompson formerly served as Ranking Member of the full committee during the 117th Congress and as Vice Chairman during the 116th Congress.
