Total frozen poultry supplies on December 31, 2021 were up three percent from the previous month but down 16 percent from a year ago, according to USDA’s Cold Storage report.
Total stocks of chicken were down slightly from the previous month and down 14 percent from last year. Total pounds of turkey in freezers were up 22 percent from last month but down 23 percent from December 31, 2020.
