Egg-type chicks hatched during November 2021 totaled 45.8 million, down 5 percent from November 2020. Eggs in incubators totaled 48.4 million on December 1, 2021, down 9 percent from a year ago.
Total frozen poultry supplies on November 30, 2021 were down 17 percent from the previous month and down 18 percent from a year ago, according to USDA latest Cold Storage report. Total stocks of chicken were down two percent from the previous month and down 16 percent from last year.
