USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) purchased chicken products as indicated below for distribution to the child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs for fiscal year 2021.
Below are details for the August 26, 2021, purchase of chicken products. Deliveries are to be made from October 1- December 31, 2021.
2,613,600 LBS. of chicken whole bagged frozen CTN-36-43 LB. was not purchased due to vendor capacity;
858,000 LBS. of chicken consumer split breast PKG-6/5 LB. was not purchased due to vendor capacity; and
351,000 LBS. of chicken breast BNLS IQF PKG-10/48 OZ. was not purchased due to Southeastern Food Distribution withdrew their bids from the award.
