The House Appropriations Committee on Thursday passed the fiscal year 2021 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration bill by a voice vote.

The vote follows the House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee’s passage of the bill by voice vote on Monday evening.

The bill now heads to the House floor. It can be voted on as standalone legislation, packaged into a minibus with some other appropriations bills, or packaged in an omnibus with all appropriations bills. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer’s (D, MD-5) office has not provided to House members further details on plans for final passage on the House floor.

House Appropriations Chair Nita Lowey (D, NY-17) announced in a letter to Appropriations Committee members that full committee markups are expected to continue through the week of July 13-17 with the expectation that markups conclude by July 17.
