National Chicken Council Chairman of the Board Clint Rivers, President & CEO of Wayne Farms,  has announced the chairs for NCC’s 2020 standing committees.

Committee chairs are as follows:

Communications Committee
Ira Brill, Director of Marketing Services, Foster Farms. Brill is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Environmental Committee
Bill Knapke,  Cooper Farms.  Knapke was appointed to this joint committee by the National Turkey Federation.

Growout Committee
Dr. Kurt Dobson, Director of Veterinary Services, George’s.

Human Resource Committee
Jim Golden, Cal-Maine Foods.  Golden was appointed to this joint committee by USPOULTRY.

Marketing Committee
David Mehlman, Vice President of Retail Sales, Koch Foods. Mehlman is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Poultry Health Committee
Dr. Scott Gustin, Managing Director Veterinary Services, Tyson Foods.

Safety & Health Committee
Frank Cruice, Senior Director Corporate Safety and Security, Perdue Foods.  This committee and the safety and health committees of USPOULTRY and the National Turkey Federation (NTF) are part of the Joint Poultry Industry Safety and Health Council.  Cruice was appointed by NCC.

Technical & Regulatory Committee
Adriene Abbott, Director Quality Assurance, Mountaire Farms.
