Dr. Jayson Lusk, Distinguished Professor and Head of the Agricultural Economics Department at Purdue University, will speak at the National Chicken Council’s 65th Annual Conference scheduled October 29-30 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Lusk will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the U.S. chicken industry.  Dr. Lusk earned a B.S. in Food Technology from Texas Tech University and received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.  He previously was an assistant professor at Mississippi State University before moving to Purdue University as an associate professor.  At Oklahoma State University, Dr. Lusk served as Regents Professor and held the Willard Sparks Endowment Chair.
