Hatchery management was top of mind when more than 50 attendees from 25 poultry companies joined Cobb-Vantress in Branson, Missouri, for the company’s 2019 Hatchery Conference last month. Traveling from North and Central America, attendees joined Cobb’s North American Technical Service Team and the World Technical Support Team for the three-day conference highlighting new solutions for hatchery systems.
“Events like our Hatchery Conference help us share one of Cobb’s specialized areas of expertise with our customers,” said Scott Jordan, hatchery specialist on Cobb-Vantress’ World Technical Support Team. “Over the course of the three days, we’re able to not only inform but also aid our customers in optimizing their hatchery operations while helping them maximize the genetic potential of Cobb products.”
The conference, which takes place every 18 months, covered a range of topics from hatchery management and antibiotic-free production to vaccination and ventilation. Cobb technical service experts and industry partners provided hands-on learning and educational presentations while also opening the floor for question-and-answer sessions during the seminar.
“Cobb is committed to providing insights and the latest industry information to our customers, which ultimately impacts their bottom line,” said Jordan. “Better yet, opportunities like these allow us to better connect with our customers, who are more like family.”
