For the second year, Food Export Association USA – Northeast and the Kansas Department of Agriculture in partnership with Petfood Industry will be conducting the Pet Food Ingredient Buyers Mission at Petfood Forum 2019. Serving the global pet food manufacturing industry, Petfood Forum is scheduled for April 29- May 1, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Some of the top poultry producers in the world will be in attendance this year, including Simmons, Wayne Farms, Tyson, Perdue, Pilgrims, Smithfield and others.

The Pet Food Ingredient Buyers Mission is an exclusive program connecting qualified buyers with ingredient suppliers during the must-attend conference and exhibition. Buyers Missions are the perfect low-cost opportunity to meet one-on-one with pre-qualified international buyers in pre-arranged meetings. These pet food manufacturing companies have been vetted for their purchasing power and interest in pet food ingredients from supplier organizations who will be present at Petfood Forum.

“Returning to Petfood Forum 2019, this vital program provides a unique opportunity for suppliers to build relationships and drive sales with ingredient buyers from around the world at one place,” said Steve Akins, executive vice president, global petfood/events for WATT Global Media. “The Buyers Mission also provides exclusive insights into demand and market-specific growth opportunities.”

Participating buyers include: Farmina Pet Foods from Brazil; Nestlé Purina Columbia from Columbia; Sanucasa from Guatemala; and Harim Pet Food Company from South Korea. Meetings will take place during the last day of the conference and exhibition on May 1.
