National Chicken Council Chairman of the Board Mark Kaminsky, COO of Koch Foods,  has announced the chairs for NCC’s 2019 standing committees.

Committee chairs are as follows:

Communications Committee

  • Ira Brill, Director of Marketing Services, Foster Farms

Environmental Committee

  • Steve Patrick,  Director EHS Operations, Tyson Foods.  Patrick is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Growout Committee

  • Dr. Carl Heeder, Director of Food Safety,  Mountaire Corp.  Heeder is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Human Resource Committee

  • Bart Crater, Corporate Director of Human Resources, Peco Foods.  Crater is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Marketing Committee 

  • David Mehlman, Vice President of Retail Sales, Koch Foods

Poultry Health Committee

  • Dr. Mark Burleson, Director of Veterinary Services, Wayne Farms.  Burleson is serving his second term as chairman of this committee.

Safety & Health Committee

  • Mick Berning, Health and Safety Consultant, Cargill.  This committee and the safety and health committees of USPOULTRY and the National Turkey Federation (NTF) are part of the Joint Poultry Industry Safety and Health Council.  Berning is serving his second year as chairman of this committee.

Technical & Regulatory Committee

  • Casey Fripp, Director of Quality Control, Foster Farms. Fripp is serving her second year as chairman of this committee.
