The Poultry Federation (TPF) has hired Lauren Sanders as Marketing Coordinator for TPF. Lauren will be responsible for assisting with all marketing efforts at TPF. Sanders’ background is in social media, event planning, marketing, advertising, and sales.

“We are thrilled to bring Lauren on board TPF. Her experience will be valuable to us as we enter into our festival season,” stated Marvin Childers, President of TPF.

In addition, The Poultry Federation has promoted Joyce Wood to director of business operations.  In her new position, she will manage the day-to-day operations, annual events, and all fundraising efforts for the federation.  Wood has been with TPF since 2005.  In her most recent role, she was oversaw accounting and event planning.

Sanders’ received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with emphasis in Advertising/Public Relations and Business Marketing/Logistics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She is on track to graduate in May 2018 with a Master of Arts in Applied Communication Studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

The Poultry Federation is a trade association representing the poultry and egg industry in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The federation promotes and protects the interests of the industry and provides a unified voice for governmental affairs. The Poultry Federation is based in Little Rock, AR., and has operational offices in Jefferson City, MO., and Oklahoma City, OK.
