OK Foods has named Randy Meyers chief operating officer, a newly-created position that comes as the company has made two acquisitions in the past 18 months. Meyers previous was OK Foods senior vice president of sales and marketing for OK Foods. He brings more than twenty-five years of industry experience to the new role.
In February 2016, OK Foods bought a fully cooked chicken product plant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Last week, the company bought Alabama-based Albertville Quality Foods .

Meyers joined OK Foods in July of 2014. OK Foods will conduct a national search for an executive vice president of sales and marketing in the coming months.
OK Foods is a unit of Mexican poultry producer Industrias Bachoco, which purchased the company in 2011.
