A Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee has scheduled a hearing next Tuesday regarding President Trump’s fiscal year 2018 budget request. Agriculture Secretary Perdue is scheduled to testify. Michael Young, USDA’s budget officer and acting deputy secretary, and Robert Johansson, USDA’s chief economist are scheduled to testify as well. The hearing is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
