Bojangles’ Restaurants, Inc. has joined the National Chicken Council as an allied member company. Sharon Humphries, director of quality assurance, will serve as the official representative to the National Chicken Council.
Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bojangles’ serves menu items such as chicken and buttermilk biscuits based on Southern recipes. As of September 2016, Bojangles’ had 699 system-wide restaurants of which 301 were company-operated and 398 were franchised restaurants, primarily located in the Southeastern United States.
