Plans are in place for the National Chicken Council’s 61st Annual Conference scheduled to be held in Washington, D.C. at the Ritz-Carlton on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29. If you plan on participating in the conference and have not yet registered, we recommend you do so in the near future.
To register, visit the conference website at www.nationalchickencouncil.org/conference/. Click on “Register Now,” located on the right-hand side of the home page. You will be asked to log in with your user name and passcode. Your user name is your business email address on file with NCC. If you do not remember your passcode, you can recover it via the log-in page. If you need assistance, contact Debra Newman in the NCC office at [email protected].
If you are registered but have not yet made a hotel reservation, please note that the Ritz-Carlton discounted hotel room block will close next week on Tuesday, October 6. After that date, hotel rooms at the discounted rate will no longer be available.
To Make Ritz-Carlton Hotel Reservations
Group rates at the hotel are $389 per night. To make hotel reservations online, click on the following link http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/WashingtonDC/Default.htm.
Where you see, “Corporate, Promo, or Group Code” enter the Group Discount Code of CHKCHKA to secure the $389 per night rate. You must select your arrival date first in order for the group discount option to appear.
You may also call the hotel at 1-800-241-3333 or (202) 835-0500 and be sure to mention the National Chicken Council to obtain the group rate. Please note that NCC’s discounted group hotel block is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Ritz-Carlton has a limited number of rooms still available under the NCC block. If you are unable to book at the Ritz-Carlton for your preferred arrival and departure dates, you may contact the Washington Marriott Georgetown, located at 1221 22nd Street, NW, across the street from the Ritz-Carlton.
The Marriott discounted NCC rate is $349. All Washington Marriott Georgetown reservations must also be made no later than October 6. After that date, prevailing rates will apply.
