Charles Krauthammer, Pulitzer Prize winning columnist and political commentator, is scheduled to speak at the National Chicken Council’s 61st Annual Conference scheduled October 28-29 at the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C.

Krauthammer, named by The Financial Times the most influential commentator in America, writes a syndicated column for the Washington Post for which he won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize. His column appears in more than 400 newspapers worldwide.  For six years, he has been a nightly panelist on Fox’s evening news program, Special Report with Bret Baier.  Most recently, he is the author of the number one New York Times bestseller  Things that Matter:  Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics.

He is a contributing editor to The Weekly Standard, as well as a weekly panelist on Inside Washington.  His New Republic columns won the 1984 National Magazine Award for Essays and Criticism, the highest award in magazine journalism.
