The Agricultural Marketing Service will be hosting a follow-up conference call to discuss requirements of the Bonus Chicken Leg Quarter Purchase Program.

Changes to the Specification: Leg Quarters (110094) – Frozen chicken leg quarters. Leg quarters must be produced from ready-to-cook broiler/fryer chickens, without neck and giblets. The commodity must be packaged in a minimum of four plastic-film bags, and packed 40 pounds (18.14kg) net weight in each fiberboard shipping container, with approximately 950 shipping containers per purchase unit totaling 38,000* pounds (17,236.51 kg).

Purchase units of commodity must be 38,000 pounds net weight regardless of case count.
