Leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives plans to hold a vote on the Senate-passed Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) legislation the week of June 8, although that could slip, according to a report in Inside U.S. Trade today.

The House would take up the Senate bill but vote separately on the TPA and trade adjustment assistance (TAA) provisions, Inside U.S. Trade said. The procedure would avoid a conference with the Senate and require House members to vote only once on each on TPA and TAA.
