Patrick Noland has been named chief financial officer of Peco Foods, Inc., according to an announcement this week by Peco Foods CEO Mark Hickman.

“Patrick is a seasoned professional who has an in-depth understanding of the financial complexities of the poultry industry as well as our company,” Hickman said today.  “He is a valuable member of our management team.  I look forward to working with him in his new position as we continue to chart our course of growth and expansion.”

Noland is a 15-year veteran of the Tuscaloosa-based poultry company.  He joined Peco in 2000 and worked in several of their Mississippi complexes before moving to the corporate office in 2008.  He joined the corporate office team as corporate accounting manager and was promoted to corporate accounting controller in 2013.

A 1994 graduate of Mississippi State University, Noland received his Bachelor of Professional Accounting degree with cum laude honors.  He worked in public accounting before beginning his career in the poultry industry with Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc. (now Tyson Foods).

National Chicken Council processor member Peco Foods, Inc. supplies boneless chicken products to national restaurant chains, regional food service distributors and retail grocers as well as international accounts.  Corporate holdings include five complexes in Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas, each with a hatchery, feed mill, live production grow-out and processing plant.   The company employs about 5,000 people.
