The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) this week released a video highlighting how chickens and turkeys are processed in the United States. The video takes a behind-the-scenes look at today’s poultry processing plants and highlights the food safety and sanitation practices employed by the industry.

With food production and safety critical to maintaining the reputation of the U.S. poultry industry and consumer confidence, this video highlights how proper handling, interventions, sanitation, and microbial testing all lead to improved food safety for chicken and turkey products.
