The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has issued a final Federal Purchase Program Specification (FPPS) for cooked chicken fajita strips. This document, dated March 2015, will replace the April 2014 version in upcoming solicitations for the 2015-2016 purchase year.
Apart from some formatting changes made to the document, AMS has updated the product formulation requirements to prohibit the use of soy or gluten contributing ingredients.
