Jerry Lane, Claxton Poultry Farms and National Chicken Council Chairman of the Board, has announced the names of those industry representatives who will serve on NCC’s 2015 Environmental, Human Resource, and Poultry Health Committees. Mike Klun, business unit manager, environment, health & safety, Cargill, will continue to serve as chair of the Environmental Committee. This committee operates jointly with the environmental committees of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) and the National Turkey Federation.  Klun was appointed chairman by National Turkey Federation in 2014.  Jeff Garrett, human resources executive, Norbest Turkey, will again lead the Human Resource Committee.  This committee is part of the Joint Poultry Industry Human Resource Council, along with the human resource committees of USPOULTRY and the National Turkey Federation.  Garrett was appointed chairman by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association in 2014.  And, Dr. David Shapiro, director of veterinary services, Perdue Farms, will remain as chair of the Poultry Health Committee.
