USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) on December 2 purchased chicken fajita strips as indicated below for distribution to the school lunch child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs for fiscal year 2015.
Deliveries will be made from January 1-31, 2015. A total of 741,000 pounds of chicken fajita strips were not purchased due to no bids being received, and 897,000 pound due to price consideration.
