Wingstop Inc. has appointed former Bloomin’ Brands Inc. executive Michael Mravle as its new chief financial officer.  Mravle has more than 15 years of finance, strategy, and accounting experience and most recently served as group vice president of financial planning and analysis at Bloomin’ Brands, the parent company of Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.

Mravle replaces Lance Loshelder, who served as CFO since 2009. Loshelder will continue with Wingstop as the executive vice president of finance.

Prior to serving as Bloomin’ Brands’ group vice president of financial planning, Mravle held several other positions including vice president of corporate financial planning and analysis, Carrabba’s vice president of finance, and vice president of new concepts. Prior to his time at Bloomin’ Brands, Mravle spent eight years with McDonald’s Corp. serving roles that included senior finance manager of the global supply chain.

Mravle’s appointment comes just a couple of weeks after the Dallas-based restaurant company hired new chief operating officer Bill Engen, formerly of 7-Eleven Inc.
