NCC consultant Bill Roenigk, former NCC senior vice president and chief economist, will testify next Wednesday before the Livestock, Rural Development and Credit Subcommittee of the House Agriculture Committee.  The hearing is scheduled to examine the “state of the livestock industry.”

Representative Rick Crawford (R-AR) chairs the subcommittee that has jurisdiction over livestock, dairy, poultry, meat, seafood and seafood products, inspection, marketing, and promotion of such commodities, aquaculture, animal welfare, and grazing, rural development, farm security and family farming matters, and agricultural credit.
