USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service this week announced a public meeting to be held on March 28 to prepare for the 45th session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission Committee on Pesticide Residues, which will be held in Beijing on May 6-14. Interested parties can participate in person or via conference call.
One key agenda item to be addressed at the meeting is drafting and proposing maximum residue limits for pesticides in food and animal feed. The public meeting will take place at Environmental Protection Agency, Room S-7100, One Potomac Yard South; 2777 South Crystal Drive, Arlington, Virginia.
