An extension of the public comment period associated with the August 30, 2012, Federal Register notice, “Request for Comment on Letters Seeking a Waiver of the Renewable Fuel Standard” was announced this week by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA notice can be viewed here. EPA received several requests for an extension of the comment period and, in response, decided to allow an additional 15 days, to October 11, 2012, for the submission of public comments.
