Thomas Francis, sales manager for Mar-Jac Poultry, Inc., Gainesville, Georgia, is the lucky winner of the early registration contest for the National Chicken Council’s July 15-17 Marketing Seminar.  The seminar, sponsored by NCC in cooperation with the National Poultry & Food Distributors Association,  is scheduled for July 15-17 in Stowe, Vermont.  Francis’ name was randomly selected from all registrations received by NCC by May 21.  His accommodations at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, where the seminar will be held,  will be upgraded to a one-bedroom suite for 4 nights.  NCC congratulates Francis and appreciates all those who have shown early support of the seminar.

If you have not yet registered for the seminar but plan to attend, visit www.chickenmarketingseminar.org  to register and for complete information about the seminar, including an agenda, how to make hotel reservations, and details on transportation.   Please note that each meeting participant must register separately online using their own email address and NCC password.  You can recover your password on file with NCC as you start the registration process.  All hotel reservations must be made by June 11.  After that date, discounted group rates will not be available.

The two-day seminar explores trends in food marketing, consumer purchasing behavior, and new products to help you better succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.  Analysts also provide forecasts for chicken and competing meats and the annual supermarket-foodservice round table gives chicken marketers the opportunity to hear directly from their customers.  The seminar also incorporates a number of relaxed networking opportunities, including a golf tournament, all in a beautiful New England alpine setting.
