Ronald Cameron, chairman of the Mountaire Corporation, this week named Paul Downes as president and chief executive officer of Mountaire Farms, Inc. Downes succeeds Dave Pogge, who remains as a member of the Mountaire Corporation board of directors. Downes has worked for Mountaire Farms for over 34 years in positions of increasing responsibility. He most recently was chief operating officer and previously was vice president of live operations. He currently sits on the National Chicken Council board of directors.
