NCC Chairman Bernard Leonard recently presented the sons of two of the industry’s pioneers who died recently with framed proclamations by the NCC Board of Directors honoring their role in the growth of the industry.  Leonard presented a proclamation honoring the late Ellis Eugene “Gene” George to his son Gary George, which he accepted in front of a portrait of his late father accompanied by his sons Charles (left) and Carl.  Leonard also presented a proclamation to John Tyson, son of Don Tyson, former chairman of the board of Tyson Foods.  The proclamations honored the two men as company founders and pillars of their communities.
