A train and a Tyson refrigerated trailer collided at an intersection in Newport, Tennessee earlier this week. The Tyson tractor trailer was carrying a full load of boxes with frozen chicken nuggets, which were scattered for blocks after the accident.
The Cooke Country Emergency Management Agency said the Tyson trailer was carrying 39,000 pounds of chicken nuggets. The intersection was shut down for several hours as crews cleaned up the mess. Officials said no injuries were reported.The Department of Agriculture condemned the entire load of chicken after the accident.
