USDA’s upcoming Broiler Supply Chain Workshop will be held at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, in Savannah, GA on May 11.   The Workshop-Flyer provides more details regarding registration and directions to the event.

This workshop is sponsored by USDA and organized by the Freight Policy Transportation Institute at Washington State University and will focus on improving the process for prioritizing transportation infrastructure investments supporting broiler exports.  This is one of four workshops conducted around the country focused on individual agricultural exports, with the goal of improving the process of evaluating alternative investments that impact specific agricultural supply chains.  And while this conference is primarily focused upon the broiler export supply chain, the approach offered can be extended to other supply chains.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Morgan Conklin ([email protected] ), by May 4, 2018 if you plan to attend.
