Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney announced today he will run for the U.S. Senate seat from Utah being vacated by longtime Senator Orrin Hatch.
“I have decided to run for the U.S. Senate because I believe I can help bring Utah’s values and Utah’s lessons to Washington,” the 2012 Republican presidential nominee said in the video. “Given all that America faces, we feel that this is the right time for me to serve our state and our country.”
