Koch Foods announced it is launching a namesake line of frozen chicken products in grocery stores, according to a report from Meatingplace.

The Koch Foods retail brand will emphasize quality, clean-label ingredients and delicious flavors and is targeted to busy moms, the company said in a news release.

“The retailers we’ve met will appreciate that we’re delivering some of the most popular and fastest-moving varieties of frozen chicken, but doing so with an improved flavor profile,” said Jenn Archer, retail marketer for Koch Foods. “We’re even getting interest in this new line from foodservice operators because they too recognize that we’re offering a better taste experience.”

The new frozen line includes six items:

  • Crispy Chicken Strips, 25 oz.
  • Buffalo Chicken Strips, 25 oz.
  • Grilled Chicken Strips, 22 oz.
  • Chicken Nuggets, 32 oz.
  • Popcorn Chicken, 25.5 oz.
  • Chicken Fries, 28 oz.

The Koch Foods line is available in more than 1,800 stores and growing, the company said. Koch Foods is supporting the product introduction with a new consumer website and targeted marketing campaign.
