Following a devastating fire in February at House of Raeford’s Wallace, North Carolina-based processing plant, the company has officially selected a contractor to manage the rebuilding process.  House of Raeford is partnering with Fitts & Goodwin, an experienced general contracting and construction company based in Columbia, South Carolina, to build the new Wallace processing facility.

“Fitts & Goodwin shares House of Raeford’s commitments to community and quality, as evidenced by the state-of-the-art hatchery they built for our company in Monetta, South Caroline, in 2016, said Bob Johnson, House of Raeford’s president and CEO, in a press release.  “Building on their long history of success, we are confident they are the perfect partner for House of Raeford as we work to rebuild in Wallace.”

House and Raeford is working with Fitts & Goodwin to finalize the details of the rebuild project.  Fitts & Goodwin has already begun overseeing work at the site and expects the project to be complete by summer 2018.
