Total frozen poultry supplies on August 31, 2015 were down slightly from the previous month but up 13 percent from a year ago, according to USDA’s September 22 Cold Storage monthly report, available here.
Total stocks of chicken were up 2 percent from the previous month and up 25 percent from last year. Total pounds of turkey in freezers were down 4 percent from last month and down 4 percent from August 31, 2014.
