Bob Ickes of Cobb-Vantress, Inc. was presented a Lifetime Achievement award at the Louisiana Poultry Federation’s recent annual convention for his 20 plus years of service and dedication to the federation as well as to the poultry industry in Louisiana.

 “Bob has been instrumental in keeping the Louisiana Poultry Federation active for many years, and he’s also chaired several of our events for years and years,” commented Professor Theresia Lavergne, of Louisiana State University’s School of Animal Sciences. “Most recently, Bob has been an advisor to our board of directors since 2004. Bob is definitely the ‘go to’ person when an officer or board member needs information or advice on federation business.”

Bob Ickes has been with Cobb since October of 2007 and has worked throughout the poultry industry for the past 40 years. He began his career in 1974 working for J&M Farms.
