White Castle is introducing new Grilled Chicken Sliders in three flavor options–Savory, Western BBC, and Bacon & Cheddar–at all 406 of its restaurants.  “We want our restaurants to offer a great meal option for every member of our guests’ families–whether they like hamburgers of chicken sandwiches,” Jamie Richardson, vice president of the Columbus-based company, said in a press release.  The sandwiches are made of 100 percent white meat chicken breats, according to the release.

The company said that the new chicken sliders should appeal to the growing number of consumers who are looking for healthier alternatives.  The savory chicken slider contains 180 calories and 7 grams of fat.  The chain’s deep-fried, breaded chicken-breast sandwich contains 390 calore and 28 grams of fat.
