Michelle Obama this week launched a new partnership with USDA, Pinterest and five major media companies (Hearst, Condé Nast, The Food Network, Meredith and Time Inc) in order to promote healthy eating and cooking.

The partnership is a project with the Let’s Move! campaign and USDA’s MyPlate, of which NCC is a member.

Thousands of nutritious recipes were identified that meet the guidance that supports MyPlate.  More than 3,000 recipes have been identified across 18 websites, and today nearly 1,000 of these recipes have been collected on a new Pinterest page associated with the effort, providing a one-stop-shop where parents, beginner home cooks, and even the most experienced chefs can find and share healthier recipes.

In addition to groups for protein foods and grilling recipes, chicken has its own Pinterest page that features 146 chicken dinner recipes.  The page has 42,000 followers and can be accessed here.
