Brakebush Brothers Acquires Trinity Valley Foods

Brakebush Brothers, Inc., announced recently the acquisition of Trinity Valley Foods, effective January 1.  Brakebrush, established in 1925, is a value-added further processor of chicken products, offering fully cooked and ready-to-cook, breaded, unbreaded, and marinated chicken products sold to the foodservice and industrial segments.  Trinity Valley Foods, established in 1990, is a further processor of raw, sized, marinated, and ready-to-cook chicken products designed for national and regional restaurant chains and further processors.  Both companies are allied members of the National Chicken Council.

Carl Brakebush will serve as president and CEO of Brakebush Brothers/Trinity Valley Foods.  Dennis Jameson will continue to serve as president of Trinity Valley Foods.  “With no duplication in product offerings, the combined businesses can now deliver a portfolio that satisfies nearly every ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat chicken product need of our combined customer bases,” the two companies said in a joint statement.
