Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op LLC, exclusive supply chain management organization for Yum! Brands and its restaurant systems, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, as well as the restaurant systems A&W and Long John Silver, announced today that Steven C. McCormick has been named UFPC’s president and chief executive officer, effective January 14.  McCormick will succeed Daniel E. Woodside, who announced his plans to retire in 2012.  Woodside, new CEO emeritus, will support McCormick’s transition through June.

In his new position, McCormick will be responsible for all aspects of UFPC’s activities and will report directly to the UFPC board of directors.  Most recently, McCormick was chief executive officer of Borden Dairy Company.  Before that, he served in various executive leadership roles at Weight Watchers, Coca-Cola, Compaq, and Pepsi.
