Yum Brands WingStreet restaurants is testing its first stand-alone restaurant in the Dallas areas. While WingStreet restaurants are normally co-located with Pizza Hut units, the location, which recently opened in Denton, Texas, is the first WingStreet restaurant not supported by Pizza Hut.
The WingStreet brand was launched in 2003 as a delivery-based wing chain through the existing Pizza Hut restaurant chain and opened its one thousandth location in early 2007. WingStreet offers bone-in and boneless wings, chicken strips, and chicken sandwiches along with nice sauces and dips.
