Tyson Foods recently announced that Sara Lilygren has been named executive vice president of corporate affairs. She was formerly senior vice president of external relations, a job she held for more than three years. Lilygren moved from the company’s Washington, D.C. office to Tyson Foods headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas in 2009 to manager external relations, which includes public relations, community relations, and corporate communications departments. Lilygren joined Tyson Foods in 2002 as director of federal government relations at the company’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to that, she was a lobbyist and public relations practitioner for various food industry groups.
