House of Raeford Farms has reached out to organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina and donated over 2,200 turkeys to help those in need enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Through House of Raeford Farms F.L.O.C.K., a non-profit outreach ministry, over 20,000 pounds of turkey have been distributed to local food banks, churches, military installations, and other ministries providing cooked meals and food baskets to low income and homeless individuals and families.  “We try to responsibly distribute our resources to help meet those needs through worthwhile locale organizations with likeminded objectives,” said Curtis Carr, director of community outreach for the company.
